This week's Friday update was another great Timeline video, which detailed parts of the Great Hyperspace War that may not have been known or fully clarified until now. The video can be viewed here: http://www.guildumbra.net/custom.php?gid=111348&page_id=62199&page_id=76715 and the full page can be reviewed here: http://www.swtor.com/news/news-article/20110211
The video once again wets our appetite for more information and is narrated amazingly well by Lance Henriksen. He details the actions taken by Sith Lord Naga Sado and the reason the Sith may be so vengeful in their current attacks on Corruscant. Their desire for such a well calculated plan against the Republic may be due to the way in which the Republic went about fighting the Great Hyperspace War. Essentially, the Republic won, then made an effort to try to exterminate the Sith and eradicate them from the galaxy. They very much did something the Sith would do. So, it would seem they want payback for an ass beating they took 1,300 years in the past. Talk about holding a grudge....
We discuss a bit more about it in this week's TOR Syndicate Podcast, episode 20 which can be listened to here: http://torsyndicate.com/ or downloaded from iTunes here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/tor-syndicate-podcast/id405738288?ign-mpt=uo%3D4 We added a news segment from TOR Universe: http://www.toruniverse.com/ and we got a RP segment from the Mantel Syndicate: http://www.mantellsyndicate.com/ We expect to get a detailed Lore update from Vall, aka guild mate, Matukai in the latest blog from the Jedi Archive Online: http://jediarchiveonline.com/ to cover this further.

Good update and good podcast.
Seems this emperor is very powerful, and to be still alive 1300 years later is just unimaginable. Can't wait for the story behind that.

I've never really been into podcasts before joining Umbra but now it's funny I listen to several of them like they're talk radio as I have my morning coffee and get ready for work.

I was pleased with the update, kinda made me feel the more vengeful side of my sith characters. Those republic bastards!
I agree about the podcasts they are great, I am a total podcast junkie.
it was nice to hear some different hosts this time as well, it was nice to actually hear the discussion this time without one person always running over the top of the others trying to get their two cents in about everything like in the last episode.

Sometimes I compare the light side to communism and Rebel Alliance to terrorism. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy to be on the right side.
