What are the first 3 things you want to do in SWTOR?

I know one of the first things I am going to do is look around to find some of the boundaries of the maps. The worlds are DAMN large, but they were VERY smart about the way they designed things. I would say the environment is kind of a theme park in the fact that you have an isolated sand box to play in. This sand box has limits that are much more definable and containable. Thus, you couldn't run until you run back around to where you began. One thing the world developers did an amazing job at was using terrain features to naturally contour and shape the landscape. Thus, the barriers I did find were as a result of cliffs or unclimbable hills/ mountain ranges.



Another thing I want to do is get grouped up with some guild mates, to include a healer. From my experience, the way this game is setup lends itself to the need for a healer. Thus, unlike many games, I feel that healers will be in very high demand. DPS is always needed, but there will be so many DPS classes in this game that they may find themselves on waiting lists. The cool thing about grouping up at low levels is that you can do all of your personal missions alone or with the group at your side. Essentially, all of the classes can separate and do what they want then get back together when more firepower is needed. Thus, you get the best of both worlds. You get the KOTOR experience of soloing and the MMO advantage of grouping. Additionally, the loot is pretty well distributed - so you can get a piece of gear and hold it until your party member links up with you again.



Finally, I am going to track to get the guild created. As our guild already has a presence on the BioWare landscape, I am not sure how we go about the creation of the guild. In many games, you have to be level 10 or higher - then, have like 6 or more peeps sitting around some NPC to pay for the creation of the new guild. Our guild will be server loaded a couple of weeks prior to game launch (according to the dev documentation: http://www.swtor.com/guilds/faq#q3) So, I am not sure if that means we are guilded from the start or what.....I guess I need to go back and read it again now.... Anyhoo, you see the interesting opportunity this event presents. I say this, because the creation of a new guild is normally an awesome event...unless you are just going through the motions to help someone create something out of necessity. With Guild UMBRA, it will be the culmination of over 2 years and many thousands of dollars and hours of work coming to fruition. I can't wait, and I hope you are all as excited and anxious to be there with me.

I would like to get a small group together and quest/story as long as they can be quiet during the scenes.

Learn everything about the tanking aspect of the game and my Sith Juggernaut to perform my job.

Look for datacrons, explore, squeal like a girl that I'm finally playing the game.

Be absolutely the most evil I can be, rarely do you get to be the bad guy and make choices that you sometimes feel guilty about. Check out the different worlds environments, and just enjoy a game with a great story that I control.

I'm planning on getting acclimated to the environment ( finding vendors, bank, AH, etc.).Then team up with Tyfor, Robowski, InquisitorAaron, and any other guildmates that want to tear stuff up. And finally just have a damn good time playing a new Star Wars game.
