I wanted to stop and take a moment to remind folks about your account security. I can go on and on about Cyber Security but for our folks here on the site I will not bore you to death and so I will keep it simple ______ . These are just few tips to help you not be a victim.
1) First and foremost, get a Bioware security fob. They are availble now in hardware flavors and even IOS annd Android software. ( Sorry Windows phone users, it's not happening ).
iOS Mobile Authenticator

Android Mobile Authenticator

Hardware Token

Getting setup with any of them

2) Create an email address purely for your Bioware account and update your email address there. Use this email for nothing else. Any other ‘Bioware’ mail that is not sent to this address will be a phish.
3) Set message reading to Ascii text format and stop viewing mail in html. This way you will be able to see any embedded links within the message that would be otherwise hidden. You can then copy any links into a search bar to see the true destination before clicking them.
4) Never respond to any of these emails. You will simply show your account as live and get more spam or even hacked.
5) Never do account management from any links within an email. Always go to your account management from within the game loader screen or using a trusted bookmarked link on your Internet browser.
6) Don't use IE
7) Yes, you do need Anti Virus, Anti Malware software and a Firewall. You don't need it running the game ( aside from the Firewall ) , but if your one of those folks who is always tabbing back and forth to a web browser, then keep it running and add filters to the swtor.exe file if you able to.
8) Get an addon like the MyWot for your browser http://www.mywot.com/en/download The WOT add-on is a crowd-sourced enhancement to your browser protection that gives safty ratings based on real user input. This add on use to slow systems down but they have come a ways. You don't need to make an account with them to get it to work. This is just Another layer of protection.
9) In game, be wary of Whispers and fake GM's. Bioware will never ever ask for your password or your account info, this is just another phish attenpt.
10) Security is YOUR HANDS, not Bioware's. Take charge and do it.

So wait... are you saying that Russian Mail order bride site, that wanted all of my credit card information for both Visas and Mastercards, won't deliver on 'the ladies'..?
